For over two decades, I have been at the center of hiring decisions, working alongside executives, shaping teams, and uncovering what truly makes a candidate stand out. I have been in the rooms where careers were decided, reviewed thousands of resumes, and witnessed the defining moments that make hiring managers say-

I know precisely why some candidates move forward while others fall short. More importantly, I understand the hidden factors influencing hiring decisions—the unspoken priorities, the subtle cues, and the behind-the-scenes discussions. I use that insider knowledge to help my clients stand out and position themselves as the top choice at every stage.
But what struck me most over the years wasn’t just the hiring mechanics—it was how many talented professionals struggled to tell their stories. I saw brilliant, capable individuals being passed over—not because they lacked skills but because they weren’t positioned effectively. Their experience was strong, but their story was not compelling.
That was when I decided to step away from a rewarding career in talent acquisition and launch Career Coaching with Mia (CCWM) to follow my passion and pull back the curtain on the hiring process.
